Every month someone asks for a feature we have already decided against. The requests are reasonable. We keep a list of them, with the reason next to each one, so we do not have the same debate twice.
No scores
A score turns a habit into a grade, and a grade invites you to compare this week with last week. Dots only say whether you showed up. That is the one question we want the app to answer.
If a feature makes a quiet day feel like a failure, it does not ship.
No leaderboards
Shared rows exist because families asked for them. Rankings between friends are different. In testing, the person in last place stopped opening the app within nine days.
Nothing to buy mid-run
We will never sell a way to repair a broken run. Plus pays for more habits, widgets and the year view. It does not change what a dot means.
